4 Energizing Juices

Are you dragging a bit this fall season? Fresh juice is like giving your cells a vitamin/mineral infusion and a huge boost to your immune system. Plus, you’ll be feeding your cells biophotons. They are important for the mitochondria, those energy producers in our cells that make ATP our energy fuel.

Lots of people are getting colds and flu  How about you? I don’t usually catch the bug, but my body fights like a trooper to stave off those nasty critters. I get tired in the process. So here comes juice to the rescue!

If you’re extra busy right now, you can’t afford not to juice. You certainly can’t afford to get sick. I know I can’t afford that.

Perk your cells up with these energizing juices.

Spinach gets a gold star for energy due to its iron content. Iron transports oxygen and energizes our cells. If you get low in iron, you may be dragging. It also offers amino acids and tyrosine, a compound that has been known to improve alertness. Not a fan of greens? Juice it up with carrot, lemon, and ginger and you won’t even know it’s there.

Broccoli Juice up the stems! It’s good economy and what else will you do with them? I have a few leftovers from dinner last night when I lightly steamed the florets. I’m juicing the stems now. A study at John Hopkins University showed that broccoli consumption prevented the development of tumors by 60% and reduced the size of tumors that did develop by 75%. It is an excellent source of vitamins C and K and a good source of folate and vitamin A. And, it contains more polyphenols than most if not all vegetables and possesses anti-inflammatory properties to minimize arthritis, muscle soreness, muscle damage, and chronic pain.

Red cabbage contains B vitamins and minerals including magnesium, which help boost energy levels.

Watercress William Patterson University conducted a study that ranked watercress at the #1 spot with a perfect score for the healthiest food. They looked at levels of key nutrients and found watercress to be the best overall in providing a wide variety of nutrients. Many studies have looked at fruit and vegetables and called them superstars for being high in one nutrient. But it is a variety of nutrients that are important for overall health and energy and watercress got the top score. The study was published in the CDC’s journal Preventing Chronic Disease. (1) Garden’s Best Superfoods Juice Powder has watercress juice powder in it.

  1. Hello

I love to juice or drink healthy smoothies but I find it always feels too cold in my stomach. I add a little warm water to make it a bit warmer but it never sits well in my body. Do you have any suggestion in order to help this issue
