Make it Watercress Juice!
An ancient green, watercress is said to have been a staple in the diet of Roman soldiers, which they used for energy and brain power. It is a part of the cruciferous vegetable family along with kale, broccoli, cauliflower, and Brussels sprouts.
Hippocrates, the father of medicine, used watercress to treat his patients. It was widely available until the 19th century and watercress sandwiches were a staple of the working class in England.

Kidney Nourishing Juices and Foods
I just had a foot zonology appointment this week. Zonology is a technique that utilizes the signal system in our feet to rejuvenate, balance, restore, and detoxify the entire body while assisting in the natural healing process. I was surprised to learn during that session that my kidneys aren’t being nourished well resulting in poor blood flow in and out of the kidneys. Strong, well-nourished kidneys are needed to support good blood flow through them.

Michele and her healing JUICE!
I was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) in 2013 after my hysterectomy. I was shocked and confused! I felt denial because I suspected I may have been misdiagnosed. A bone marrow biopsy confirmed the diagnosis. I was scared. The doctors did not tell me how I could heal myself at that time. This cancer was not welcome in my body. I asked God to please lead me to the people and information who could help me heal.

Discover Your Destiny
Your Destiny is Waiting…
Not knowing who we are and not knowing why we are here are two of the most compelling reasons why vegetable juicing and making other healthy dietary changes becomes so volatile for many people. It is often difficult to deal with the stresses of life without our favorite “comfort foods” and especially sweets to stuff down a variety of emotions. It’s hard to avoid food temptations when we don’t have a compelling reason to discipline urges for the wrong foods and drink. And we often find we can’t face ourselves once toxins start coming out.

How to Get Rid of Floaters in the Eyes
People often ask me if there is anything they can do about floaters. Many times they have been told there is no hope for this condition. This is not true. I once had so many floaters that on a sunny day the various shapes floating by reminded me of a star-studded night. I have totally cured myself. Here’s what you can do to improve your eye health:
Antioxidants
Eating foods and drinking juices rich in antioxidants is a good home remedy for floaters. Foods rich in vitamin C, beta-carotene, and E are the best sources of antioxidants. Juice carrots, dark leafy greens, lemon, all other brightly colored vegetables.
Do You Want to Be Healed?

Do You Want to Be Healed?
There are many reasons why we get sick. Harmful emotions caused by hurtful situations can cause us to end up in a state of dis-ease. Stress is a “killer” for sue. But poor diet, toxins, lack of exercise, and lack of nutrients are among the top causes of disease.
At least one major study, conducted in the 1990s, found that 40% and possibly as high as 47% of deaths in the United States were caused by behavior patterns (diet, lack of exercise, tobacco, alcohol, etc.) meaning they could have been prevented.1 “At least 70 percent of health care spending is related to lifestyle,” The Milken Institute Review reported last year. “While genes cause or contribute to some disease, our excess weight, tobacco use and poor exercise habits are far more damaging,” the publication noted.2 The American Journal of Medicine reported in 2007 that more than 62% of all bankruptcies in the United States stemmed directly from medical debts or the loss of income due to illness.3
If you want to turn your health, your energy, your life around, it’s time to do something different. Albert Einstein said, ”Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.” Your life is priceless! What are you doing to protect your health or turn your health around?
Juicing, cleansing your body, learning new ways of eating, exercising, and de-stressing are all important components of healing and a healthy lifestyle.

Detox = Weight Loss
Take Out the Trash – Lose Weight!
Did you know that toxins make you fat? They keep you from losing weight even when you are dieting. If you are struggling to lose weight despite eating well and exercising, toxins may be interfering with your body’s metabolism. There’s a lot you can do when it comes to taking out your body’s trash.
Because of all the environmental pollution in our world and our occasional, or maybe continual, unwise food choices, our normal body processes can get overwhelmed. Toxic substances, mucus, and congestion get trapped in our tissues and tissue spaces. Our body attempts to protect us by enclosing toxins in mucus and fat cells. When toxins enter your body, it does what it’s designed to do—protect you and keep you alive. To do that, the body needs to get the chemicals away from your vital organs and delicate tissues. The safest place to store them is in your —you guessed it!—fat cells. Then it’s going to hang onto those little storage tanks to protect you. It will even make more fat cells to store toxic waste if it needs them. So you get fatter and feel more sluggish and tired as time goes by. The only way that you are going to get rid of the toxin-filled fat cells is to do a cleanse. When you drink the cleansing, detoxifying juices that I recommend, along with the herbal tinctures, your cells can let go of the toxins and your body can let go of the fat.
Voila! You start losing weight without a huge amount of effort. You also start feeling better.
It’s estimated that the average adult has between five and ten pounds of accumulated toxic waste in their cells, tissues, and organs, particularly the colon. (That’s five to ten pounds we could feel really great about dropping!) Toxic substances that accumulate throughout the body can weaken and congest our organs and systems of elimination and lead to diseases such as cancer. They also mess up our weight-loss goals. If we go on a very strict diet that forces the body to let go of fat cells for survival, the weight will come right back on when we stop the program.
Toxins can cause diabetes to boot? Reporting in the Lancet (2008) scientists revealed a disturbing fact: environmental toxins make you fat and cause diabetes(1). As the toxic bad guys roam around though out your body, these chemicals monkey with your ability to balance blood sugar and metabolize cholesterol. Over time, the changes can lead to insulin resistance. There are no drugs to treat it. The treatment is to cleanse your body.
Toxins make us sick; it’s now a proven fact. Market Watch Headline News yesterday sums it up: “Lifestyle gets blame for 70% to 90% of all cancers!” (2) A recent study published in Nature (2015) revealed that it is mostly environmental and external factors like smoking, drinking, diet, getting too much sun and exposure to toxic chemicals that cause cancer, rather than intrinsic factors like random cell mutations. Intrinsic factors accounted for just 10% to 30% of people’s lifetime risk of getting cancer, while extrinsic risks accounted for 70% to 90% for most common cancer types, the study showed. “Cancer risk is heavily influenced by extrinsic factors,” the study researchers, who work at Stony Brook University in New York, concluded.(3)
Looking at the information in the box below, you will notice that obesity or weight is listed for many different types of cancer. Why is that? I believe it’s because toxins are stored in fat cells and people who are overweight have a lot of toxicity hanging around to make them sick. This is something we all need to address, however, whether we are overweight or not. Cleansing our body will help us lose weight, but it will also help us prevent serious diseases down the road. Angel’s Story
“I had gotten psoriasis on my hands very badly from so many years of doing hair. When Cherie came to my salon and saw my hands, she gave me the carrot liver cleansing diet. She told me to do it once a month and possibly for 6 months. In one week my psoriasis on my hands was gone. It was amazing! She is awesome. All I can say is that I’m so happy to see all the information that she has given to so many people.” —Angel

Healing for GERD
Healing for GERD
Acid reflux affects up to 50 percent of people in the U.S. GERD, which is also known as heartburn, is a burning sensation that starts behind the breastbone and can travel up your throat. It is thought to be caused by excessive acid in the stomach, which is why acid-blocking drugs are prescribed. However, this is a misconception that has harmed millions of people.
Acid reflux occurs when the lower esophageal sphincter relaxes inappropriately, allowing acid from your stomach to flow (reflux) backward into your esophagus.
One of the most commonly prescribed drugs for heartburn and acid reflux are proton pump inhibitors (PPIs), which are very effective at blocking acid production in your stomach.
While that may sound like an appropriate remedy, considering the fact that stomach acid is creeping up your esophagus, in most cases it’s actually the worst approach possible, as a major part of the problem is typically related to too little stomach acid. It only temporarily treats the symptoms. PPIs like Nexium, Prilosec, and Prevacid were originally designed to treat a very limited range of severe problems. According to Mitchell Katz, director of the San Francisco Department of Public Health, who wrote an editorial on this topic four years ago, proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) are only warranted for the treatment of:
• Bleeding ulcers
• Zollinger-Ellison syndrome (a rare condition that causes your stomach to produce excess acid)
• Severe acid reflux, where an endoscopy has confirmed that your esophagus is damaged
The answer to heartburn and acid indigestion is to restore your natural gastric balance and function. When you eat processed foods, sugars, and drink coffee and alcohol, it can exacerbate acid reflux as it will upset the bacterial balance in your stomach and intestine. You should eat plenty of vegetables and other high-quality, organic, unprocessed foods. Also, eliminate food sensitivities from your diet. Common culprits here include caffeine, alcohol, and nicotine products.
Make sure you’re getting plenty of beneficial bacteria in your diet. It will also aid in proper digestion and assimilation of your food. You can get probiotics from fermented foods. If you aren’t eating fermented foods, you most likely need to supplement with a probiotic on a regular basis. Ideally, you’ll want to include a variety of cultured foods and beverages in your diet, as these foods will inoculate your gut with a variety of different microorganisms. Fermented foods include:
• Fermented vegetables
• Chutneys
• Cultured dairy, such as yoghurt and kefir
Other effective strategies include using unprocessed salt such as pink Himalayan salt or sea salt, which will help your body produce more hydrochloric acid (HCL). Sauerkraut and cabbage juice are the best options to help your body produce HCL. You can also improve the acid content of your stomach by taking one tablespoon of raw unfiltered apple cider vinegar in a large glass of water about 15 minutes before a meal. If this helps you, then also take Betaine HCL (available at health food stores) with your meals. One tablespoon of baking soda mixed in a glass of water will ease heartburn. Also, aloe vera juice is very helpful. Drink ginger root or chamomile tea as well.
