Hormones, Fat Deposits & Natural Remedies

Higher estrogen has been associated with more fat on hips, buttocks, and thighs. This is just one example of what hormone imbalances can do. Hormones definitely direct fat distribution. Fat deposits on your back can be caused by a sluggish thyroid producing too little thyroxine. Those pesky love handles can be caused by too much insulin. And what about those “wings” on your arms? Hey ladies, for real….not enough testosterone. And those terribly frustrating thunder thighs? Too much estrogen can cause fat to deposit on the buttocks, hips, and thighs. Then there’s the jelly belly or muffin top. That’s too much cortisol, the stress hormone. Chunky calves or ankles? You’re not getting enough growth hormone.

Detoxing helps reset your hormones. Balanced hormones improve your sleep, exercise and weight loss. (You may want to get 30-Day Detox program and The Internal Cleanse Kit with the Free Colon Cleanse Kit for a super detox program.) Detoxing toxic hormones is a key to getting rid of those fat deposits.

Here’s what you can do:

  1. Get FemComfort. It’s an excellent blend of herbs that help balance your hormones.
  2. Detox. This helps you balance hormones. Get my 30-Day Detox program and The Internal Cleanse Kit with the Free Colon Cleanse Kit.
  3. Eat the Hormone Diet. I’ll explain below…

For love handles and too much insulin: cut out all sugar and starch such as pasta, potatoes, bread, and rice. Stabilize your blood sugar with clean protein, healthy fats, and fiber. Researchers have also linked the trace mineral chromium with insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes.

For wings and not enough testosterone: Eat plenty of good fat such as avocado, coconut oil, olive oil, flax seeds and nuts. Flavonoids also help. They are found in apples, berries, onions, and green tea. Resveratrol also helps. I recommend supplements over red wine. Lack of exercise can suppress testosterone. Work out at least three times per week and walk the other days. This encourages testosterone production.

For thunder thighs and fat on the buttocks:  Eat an abundance of cruciferous vegetables—cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, and watercress. These veggies contain nutrients that help regulate liver enzymes that metabolize estrogen. Cut out alcohol, painkillers, processed meat and coffee. These foods are bad news when it comes to estrogen.

Belly fat and cortisol: Cortisol increases levels of fat and sugar in the bloodstream to prepare you for fight or flight. If you’ve got belly fat, it’s time to address the cause of your stress. Exercise can help you get rid of excess cortisol. Stress reduction exercises are very effective.

Chunky ankles and calves and growth hormone: You need to sleep deeply and well. Growth hormone is secreted only during deep sleep. Turn off all phones, iPads, computers—anything with blue light that would keep awake. It decreases your melatonin.

Fat on your back and low thyroid: Eat foods rich in iodine such as seafood, cranberries. watercress and sea vegetables. Take Thyrocsin. Get my book Remedies for Thyroid Disorders. Get my juice powder Garden’s Best Superfood Juice Powder.
