Juice Fast: Rejuvenate, Lose Weight, Detox

Want to drop a few pounds fast?  Need to refresh your body and detox? Summer is just around the corner and the “lazy, crazy, hazy days of summer” are about to descend upon us.  I loved that Nat King Cole song! It’s much easier to do a juice fast when the weather is warm.

I have actually read articles that say juice fasting does nothing for your digestive tract or little to enhance the detoxification process.  That simply is not true. Flood your body with an abundance of antioxidants such as you find in fresh veggie juice, and you will detox. Your body just can’t help but release toxins stored up in fat cells.  And it will do so safely because the antioxidants bind to toxins and carry them safely out of your body. I’m a veteran juice faster and I KNOW this works. It helps your colon and your whole digestive system.  But don’t just take my word for it.  Try it yourself.  Experience the wonderful benefits of juice fasting.  I think you’ll be amazed.  And what have you got to lose?  You’ll be drinking fresh veggie juices after all.  What could be better than that?

Refreshing Cucumber-Ginger-Mint Water

  • 1 pitcher of purified water
  • 1/2 organic cucumber, sliced
  • 1-2 Tbsp. grated ginger
  • Handful of fresh mint

Cucumber-Ginger-Mint water will not only hydrate and refresh your body; it can help you feel better and even look better.  Besides hydration, it can help you curb your appetite or hunger when you juice fast.  When the urge to eat comes knocking on your door, drink a big glass of this flavored water.
