Juicing for Pets

Our Annie Mae died last fall. She was 14 when she left this world. That seemed too soon. When we got our new puppy Winston, I was determined that he would have the best possible chance of living a long, healthy life.

Think that premium food is enough nutrition for your pet? Think again!

I found a great holistic vet in our area who knows a lot about doggie nutrition including juicing for pets. Her recommendation was to transition Winston to a raw meat and veggie diet by adding small amounts to his kibble or cooked food. He loves the raw and dehydrated food, which the vet says is the same thing without the moisture. Vegetables are incorporated too, which mimic the herbs, vegetation, roots, and berries that would have been the stomach contents of prey animals in the wild. All vegetables should be blended or juiced as much as possible, but little veggie snacks like carrots are also fine.

How To Juice for Your Pets

Juice is excellent for pets. Start by mixing 1 or 2 tsp. of juice with their food. All veggies and most fruits are fine, but no citrus, onions, grapes, or raisins. Always blend the gas producers—broccoli, cabbage, and cauliflower. Great choices are carrots, sweet potatoes, pumpkin, spinach, kale, green beans, celery, apples, pears, mangoes, and bananas.

A Message From Cherie...

Juicing for pets introduces a novel way to boost their health, providing essential nutrients in an easily digestible form. It can enhance their immune system, improve coat health, and increase energy levels. This natural approach to supplementation offers a gentle yet effective means to support your pet’s overall wellbeing.

This high-nutrition diet should create a healthy pet with a strong immune system, shiny coat, clean teeth, and good energy levels. (Maybe we should all eat about what the dog eats?)

Most dogs get highly refined, nutrient depleted dog food devoid of vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and quality protein.

You can give them nutrient-rich food and keep them healthy for their lifetime.
