Time for Probiotics

Best Probiotics Ever

Ever since I took a round of antibiotics a few years ago for an upper respiratory infection, I’ve had a challenge with my gut health.  I’ve had to take an herbal supplement to stay regular. Then my colonic therapist recommended Probiotic 225. It’s been a life changer for sure. The real test came in the last couple of weeks when I was out of stock. I noticed a big difference.  Never again. You know I always let you know when I have excellent products. But don’t get this product from Amazon.  My colonic therapist said she had some clients that did and it was not the same. Something is not right with the one they carry. You must know your source when it comes to probiotics.

Why You Should Take Probiotics

  • Accelerates the Proliferation of Healthy Intestinal Microflora
  • Promotes a Rapid Immune Response
  • Maintains Normal Inflammatory Balance

I want to point out that we don’t always think about colon health and good microflora being connected to a great immune response. But I can attest to that. Since I have out of my good probiotic, I started feeling tired after a few days of not taking it, like I was fighting a cold. I never got a cold, but I felt rundown. In this season of viruses and colds, it is vitally important to keep your immune system strong. One of my biggest concerns in all the hand washing, distancing and mask promotion, is that no one talks about true prevention by keeping the immune system strong. That is one of the most important things you can do.

What’s Different About Probiotic 225

Going beyond the threshold of traditional probiotic support, high-dose probiotics influence gut health and immunity in ways lower-dose probiotics cannot. Shown to activate over 1,700 genes involved in immune and inflammatory signaling, high-dose probiotics support a healthy, balanced immune response. Delivering 225 billion active probiotic cultures per packet, Probiotic 225 creates a rapid response to reset the immune system and maintain normal inflammatory balance. Each convenient, single serving packet provides six proven strains chosen for their ability to survive the harsh GI environment and deliver superior results.

RECIPE

Immune System Builder

Vitamin C is an important nutrient for the immune system. Include plenty of vegetables and fruit rich in vitamin C, such as kale, parsley, collards, turnip greens, broccoli, watercress, spinach, lemon, and elderberries.

  • 1 handful of parsley or watercress
  • 2–3 kale or collard greens leaves
  • 1 cup elderberries or blueberries
  • 1 green apple
  • 1⁄2 cucumber, peeled if not organic
  • 1 lemon, peeled if not organic

Cut produce to fit your juicer’s feed tube. Juice parsley or watercress and green leaves and push through the juicer slowly with half of the cucumber. Turn off the machine and pour in the berries, then place the plunger on top. Turn the machine on and push the berries through. Juice all remaining ingredients. Stir the juice and drink as soon as possible. Serves 2.
