Turmeric & Healthy Skin; Heal Psoriasis, Acne & Skin Pigmentation

Turmeric’s various antioxidants and anti-inflammatory components can provide a healthy glow and luster to your skin that comes from the inside. Turmeric is one of those spices that can revive your skin and get rid of a dull complexion. And if you add turmeric to your juice and apply as a face mask, you can get your glow back twice as fast.

Helps Heal Wounds

You may also be interested in knowing that turmeric can help heal wounds because it is an anti-inflammatory. By incorporating it, your wounds will heal more quickly. Studies have found that turmeric can positively affect tissue and collagen as well.

Psoriasis

Turmeric is beneficial for psoriasis by helping to control flare ups. Researchers have found that turmeric can obstruct the inflammatory enzymes linked to psoriasis. It can also lower the levels of cytokines, which stimulate cell inflammation that can eventually lead to psoriasis.

Turmeric has bleaching properties that help reduce skin pigmentation. Mix one teaspoon turmeric powder with one teaspoon of lemon juice. Leave on skin for 20 minutes. Do not go out into the sun for at least an hour afterward. Wash off with cool water.

Helps reduce excessive facial hair

This condition is caused by hormonal imbalances. Applying turmeric to the skin.  Also taking it orally can be helpful.

Turmeric Time

  • 1 cucumber
  • 3 carrots
  • 3 celery ribs
  • 1 chard leaf
  • 1/2 apple
  • 1/2  lemon
  • 1-inch chunk ginger root
  • 1-inch chunk fresh turmeric root or 1/4 tsp. turmeric

Juice all ingredients, stir and enjoy.
