Cancer Cleanse Juices

Carrot juice

One of the ways that cancer develops is through a protein known as BCRP/ABCG2. You can block that protein, which is important in both preventing cancer and treating existing cancer. A phytonutrient known as falcarinol, which is found in carrots, inhibits that protein from being taken up by the body and thus stops the spreading of cancerous cells in the body. The key is to drink a quart of carrot juice a day. Ann Cameron cured her lung and colon cancer in 6 months with a quart of carrot juice a day.

Beet juice

Beets have been used to treat cancer in Europe for centuries. Interest in beet juice as a treatment for cancer started in the 1920’s with two German doctors Farberse and Schoenenberger who used beets to treat cancer patients. The flavonoid betazyane in beets has shown tumor-inhibiting effects.

Cancer cells are anaerobic meaning they do not survive well in the presence of oxygen. Beets can increase oxygen in the blood while also helping to eliminate waste. Beets help to increase oxygen intake within the cells, while protecting levels of vitamin C. Beets also help to detoxify the liver, kidneys, and lymphatic system. Beet juice also promotes the regeneration of new healthy cells.

Celery and parsley juice

Celery and parsley juice are a great treatment for breast cancer. The University of Missouri found that apigenin, a phytonutrient in celery, parsley and thyme, “worked even on deadly, fast-growing breast tumors, inhibiting cell proliferation (growth) and reducing expression of a gene associated with cancer malignancy. When mice that were implanted with cells of a particularly deadly, fast-growing human breast cancer were treated with apigenin, the cancerous growth slowed and the tumors shrank. Blood vessels feeding the cancer tumors also shrank and restricted nutrient flow to the tumor cells, starving them of the nutrients need to spread cancer. Another study showed similarly promising results; when rats with breast cancer were treated with apigenin. They developed fewer tumors and had significant delays in tumor formation.” (Mercola)

 The Ginger Hopper With a Twist

Research in Italy found that those who ate more carrots had 1/3 as high a risk of heart attack as compared with those who ate less carrots.

  • 5 medium carrots, scrubbed well, tops removed, ends trimmed
  • 1 green apple
  • 1-inch-chunk fresh ginger root, peeled
  • 1/2 lemon, peeled if not organic

Cut produce to fit your juicer’s feed tube. Juice ingredients and stir. Pour into a glass and drink as soon as possible. Serves 1.

I read this several times from the above Ginger Hopper w/a twist before asking this question. What am I missing, 1/3 as high, sounds like eating less carrots would be less a risk of heart attacks? Thanks.

    • The wording is a bit awkward but correct. Those who ate the most carrots cut their heart attack risk by 1/3 compared to those who ate less carrots.

  4. I always thought that carrots and beets had too much sugar in them when juiced? A naturopath once told me to never juice because of the sugars, but I love juicing. I would love your thoughts Cherie.

    • Carrots and beets are higher in sugar than other veggies. If you have a challenge with sugar, as I do, you will only be able to juice a small amount of them and probably not together. Dilute the sugar with greens and cucumber, celery, or zucchini.

  5. So what’s recommended for hypothyroid, enlarged spleen and breast cancer (invasive ductal carcinoma, Est and Prog +, HER2-) all at once?

    • For hypothyroid, it’s a whole protocol. Thyrocsin is very helpful. You can read more about this supplement on my website. Also get my book The Juice Lady’s Remedies for Thyroid Disorders. I would recommend a cleansing program for your spleen and the cancer. Do a veggie juice fast. Get my book The Juice Lady’s Guide to Fasting. Start with the 3-day juice fast. It is important to detox.     I was diagnosed in 2007 with stage 4 breast cancer-it went to a few areas of the bone.Did 16 radiation on the pelvic and femur bone and receive an intravenous drug once a month for the past 9 years to get calcium deposited in the bone. Came back in 2014 – had double mascectomy and 6 rounds of chemo. became active in the bones in 2015. Have been on Ibrance, a chemo pill,and faslodex injections for a year. Any good recipes for me? I am going to start essiac tea and frankincense oil too.

    • Please get my book The Juice Lady’s Living Foods Revolution. Use the veggie juice recipes there. No fruit except lemon and lime. Stay away from all sugars including fruit sugar.

  7. Thank you Cherie for ALL the info. My wife just had surgery to remove an Ovarian cancer mass. they want 6 sessions of chemo. what would you suggest instead. Are natural sugars like in vegies( carrots, beets,etc). OK? When is including the fiber from juicing vegies a good idea. We have an old “Juice Man” juicer and a new Nutribullet Rx. Which would be best and when? Should we detox first? Fast? Cleanse? Can you help?

    • Natural sugars from veggies are ok. I do not recommend fruit–too much sugar. It is a good idea to get the clear juice, minus the fiber for the most therapeutic benefits.I would recommend the Juiceman juicer as the best option. Start juicing right away. I would highly recommend that you do my 30-Day Detox program also.
