Can it possibly be true?  Yes indeed.

Are you wanting to get rid of jowls or a double chin? I wouldn’t recommend a prescription drug. That’s what I see promoted from the plastic surgeon’s office that’s down the hall from where I get my hair done. What kind of side effects would you get from a drug that targets fat under your chin? I’m all for natural remedies. But could juice fasting really melt away fat in odd places like under the chin? There are all sorts of reports about green juices melting belly fat. So why not face fat? Well, you can’t argue with someone’s success!

At least one major study, conducted in the 1990s, found that 40% and possibly as high as 47% of deaths in the United States were caused by behavior patterns (diet, lack of exercise, tobacco, alcohol, etc.) meaning they could have been prevented.1 “At least 70 percent of health care spending is related to lifestyle,” The Milken Institute Review reported last year.  “While genes cause or contribute to some disease, our excess weight, tobacco use and poor exercise habits are far more damaging,” the publication noted.2 The American Journal of Medicine reported in 2007 that more than 62% of all bankruptcies in the United States stemmed directly from medical debts or the loss of income due to illness.3

If you want to turn your health, your energy, your life around, it’s time to do something different. Albert Einstein said, ”Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.” Your life is priceless! We kicked off our 30-Day Detox Challenge January 4 with a 3-day juice fast. It’s been an amazing journey for more than 150 of us.

The health benefits of fasting are numerous and significant. Often people say they experience benefits in just a few days such as greater energy, brain power, and vitality. Other important benefits include improved digestion, stronger immune system, better sleep, reduced inflammation, balanced blood sugar, improved circulation, weight loss, balanced hormones, clearer skin, and a greater sense of well-being. I began an enlightening journey juicing about 2 quarts a day. Every day.  What happened?  I became less hungry. That gnawing feeling of always being hungry left me.  The cup full of vitamins I took 3 times a day dwindled down to about a tablespoon once a day.  The pain I felt most of the time has lifted. I only want to eat meat once every three days now. I experimented to see what would happen if I used juice in place of different vitamins, to see if I could eliminate them.  When I added more ginger, my sinus congestion left.  I experimented to see if I was imagining the improvements. I deleted the juice for 2 days.  The pain, lack of energy, hunger and sinus congestion returned.  I went back on the juice and it went away again.
