12 Healthy Holiday Travel Tips

Are you getting ready to travel for the Christmas holiday?  I want you to stay as healthy as possible, I have some tips to help you ward off the winter bugs and the stresses of travel.

  1. Stay hydrated.  Plane air is very dehydrating, so it’s important to stay well hydrated. Drink plenty of water and eat high-water content foods such as fruits and vegetables, vegetable juices, and herbal teas.  Minimize dehydrating things such as coffee and alcohol.  Make sure you buy a bottle or two of water at the airport.  It seems they never serve enough water on the plane.
  2. Take extra vitamin C.  Keep your immune system strong.  Travel is stressful, and routines are disrupted.
  3. Move the overhead vent so it doesn’t blow air in your face. Divert germs away from your eyes and nose.
  4. Colloidal Sovereign Silver Gel.  Place a small amount of the gel in each nostril when you are exposed to people who are sick. Colloidal silver is known to kill bacteria, viruses, yeast and other pathogens. Sovereign Colloidal Silver Mist also comes in a spray form. This is great for hydration too on planes. You can also use it as a hand sanitizer.
  5. Oreganol P 73 Extra Strength. This herbal remedy is known as a germ killer working against viruses, bacteria, parasites, and fungi. The complexity of the phytochemical matrix in Oreganol P73 possesses a broad spectrum of antimicrobial properties that are safe for prolonged use. The oil can be used topically and internally. It has a very strong taste so I guy gelatin capsules and fill one when it is needed.
  6. Take a coat or shawl. Planes can be very cold.  Take something so you can cover up.
  7. Put some distance between you and people who are sick.  If someone is coughing, sneezing, or appears sick, keep your distance.
  8. Always wear socks at the airport when you have to shed your shoes.  There are many germs at the airport so make sure your feet are always covered.
  9. Get as much restful sleep as possible.  When you don’t get enough sleep, you miss out on the healing hormones that are released when you sleep deeply.
  10. Eat well and carry healthy snacks such as nuts, seeds, olives, and turkey jerky.
  11. If there is nothing healthy to eat, don’t be afraid to fast a meal or two.
  12. If you’re traveling, or if any of your family members and friends are traveling, and you need to find a doctor in a new area make note of this doctor service, which connects you with doctors based on their experience. You can check it out at https://amino.com
