Juicing For Health | Juicing To Lose Weight | Juice Lady Cherie

This is not my story.  I reprinted it from Telegram. It touched my heart and I had to share it with you. It said to me how much we need each other, especially now at this difficult time in history. Love and human compassion seem to be waning and anger and fear are on the rise. People are screaming at each other over a little mask, as one example. We must band together and do our part to love and help each other just like the bees.

“My dad has bees.🐝 Today I went to his house and he showed me all of the honey he had gotten from the hives. He took the lid off of a 5-gallon bucket full of honey and on top of the honey there were 3 little bees, struggling. They were covered in sticky honey and drowning. I asked him if we could help them and he said he was sure they wouldn’t survive. Casualties of honey collection I suppose. I asked him again if we could at least get them out and kill them quickly, after all, he was the one who taught me to put a suffering animal (or bug) out of its misery. He finally conceded and scooped the bees out of the bucket. He put them in an empty Chobani yogurt container and put the plastic container outside. Because he had disrupted the hive with the earlier honey 🍯 collection, there were bees flying all over outside. We put the 3 little bees in the container on a bench and left them to their fate. My dad called me out a little while later to show me what was happening. These three little bees were surrounded by all of their sisters (all of the bees are females) and they were cleaning the sticky nearly dead bees, helping them to get all of the honey off of their bodies. We came back a short time later and there was only one little bee left in the container. She was still being tended to by her sisters. When it was time for me to leave we checked one last time and all three of the bees had been cleaned off enough to fly away and the container was empty. Those three little bees lived because they were surrounded by family and friends who would not give up on them, family and friends who refused to let them drown in their own stickiness and resolved to help until the last little bee could be set free. Bee Sisters. Bee Peers. Bee Teammates. ❣️

We could all learn a thing or two from these bees. 🐝 🐝 🐝

I did not write this I will add, but I love it. Bee kind always, and love one another.— Reprinted From Diane (telegram) posted by Santa Surfing
Thank You for Caring for MeI want to thank you for all your comforting, caring comments after losing Annie Mae. I had no idea how devastating this would be. I didn’t know the deep place she’d taken in my heart. She was the most loving little dog I’ve ever known. When I hugged her, she hugged me back. She was a true angel in fur. It’s been really hard. Your kind words have been so appreciated. That’s one reason I had to share the bee story with you.
Sweet Harvest Creamy CarrotServes 6-8
This soup was created by my friend Chef Jeff for my book Souping is the New Juicing. It uses full-fat coconut milk for its creamy consistency.
2 lb. carrots, scrubbed and cut into 1-inch pieces
1 large onion, medium diced
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp cloves
1/4 tsp allspice
1/4 tsp nutmeg
10 cups of purified water
3 tbsp. coconut nectar or several drops of stevia (optional)
1 tsp sea salt or to taste
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper or to taste
1 cup full-fat coconut milk
Place a large soup pot over medium heat and add all ingredients except for the coconut milk, salt, pepper, and sweetener.  Cook for one hour, until carrots are fork-tender.  Puree until smooth and creamy.  Add coconut milk and continue to puree.  Season with salt, pepper, and sweeter to desired taste.
