Cayenne Pepper Could Stop a Heart Attack and Save Someone You Love

Want to keep your medicine cabinet stocked to stop a heart attack? Cayenne pepper should always be on hand. But for it to be effective, it must be at least 90,000 heat units (H.U.) according to the Scoville scale, which measures the concentration of capsaicin. Frontier brand offers 90,000 H.U. If the person is still conscious, make a cayenne tea by mixing 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper in 6-8 ounces of warm water and make sure they drink the whole thing. If the person is not conscious, the recommendation is to use a tincture or extract of 90,000 H.U. and put a couple of full droppers underneath their tongue. It might be a good idea to always have this tincture on hand in a purse or briefcase.

Dr. John Christopher, N.D. said: “In 35 years of practice, and working with the people and teaching, I have never on house calls lost one heart attack patient and the reason is, whenever I go in–if they are still breathing–I pour down them a cup of cayenne tea (a teaspoon of cayenne in a cup of hot water), and within minutes they are up and around.”

Cayenne pepper is also helpful for other health challenges:
