Toxic Liver Causes High Cholesterol

A congested liver is one reason people have high cholesterol, even though they may eat a very healthful diet and exercise regularly. Your liver creates more cholesterol than a normal diet contains. If you cut your cholesterol intake completely, your body would simply manufacture more. If you have high cholesterol, you may have stones or congestion in your liver. As stones grow and congestion increases, the pressure on the liver causes it to make less bile. It could be likened to your garden hose containing pebbles or small stones or having a kink. Much less water would flow through it, which in turn would decrease the ability of the hose to squirt out water.

If you have liver stones or congestion, much less bile is “squirted out” and less cholesterol leaves the body, facilitating a rise in cholesterol levels. Taking a medication to bypass the problem and manipulate the numbers is not the answer to healing your body. True preventative medicine means getting to the root cause of the problem and remedying that cause. Performing a liver cleanse will help your liver become more efficient and effective at performing all its functions, including making cholesterol and eliminating cholesterol. Therefore, cleansing your liver is one of the best things you can do to regain the balance of your cholesterol.

Liver toxicity and congestion are common, but conventional medicine doesn’t have a test to determine this. Just relying on a blood test for diagnostic purposes is ineffective. Most people who have liver congestion or stones test perfectly normal for liver enzymes in the blood. Liver enzymes only become elevated when there is advanced liver cell damage, as in hepatitis, cirrhosis, or liver inflammation. That’s because liver cells contain large amounts of enzymes, and when they rupture, the enzymes enter the blood and signal liver abnormalities. By then the damage has already occurred. It usually takes many years for this to take place. Therefore cleansing the liver is an excellent preventative measure as well as being healing, restorative, and rejuvenating.

It’s difficult to cleanse your liver if you have parasites. You won’t be able to release many stones, and you may feel sick. Embark on a parasite killing program three weeks before attempting a liver cleanse. Also, make sure you complete a colon cleanse before cleansing the liver. You want your intestinal tract and urinary tract in top working condition so they can efficiently remove waste or toxins.

The 30-Day Detox program offers the colon cleanse, liver cleanse, and parasite cleanse.

Wheatgrass to Lower Cholesterol

An animal study conducted by the Sharma University of Health Sciences in India published in the May 2010 issue of  “Methods and Findings in Experimental and Clinical Pharmacology” looked at the effects of wheatgrass on rabbits with induced hypercholesterolemia. Thirty rabbits were divided into three groups: one on a normal diet, one on a high-fat diet and one on a high-fat diet with wheatgrass. The group receiving wheatgrass with the high-fat diet had reduced total cholesterol and increased LDL, the “good” cholesterol.
