Study on Thyroid Improvement

Studies have shown that the benefits derived from regular consumption of watercress may be from “secondary metabolites and other phytonutrients which repair cellular damage.” Watercress works effectively as a preventive against thyroid disease along with some cancers and cardiovascular disease.   1. I want to do this but I am at 4-H quilt camp in Walla Walla, WA, and may not get a picture to you until tomorrow morning. I have been successful at juicing for 21 days and would have done a full 30 but had to ease off the juice as I had to go on a trip and it was not possible to continue juicing.

    • Sally, that’s not a problem to get the picture to me tomorrow. You can start next week with the group.

    I am interested in joining the pilot program but not interested in being in the Woman’s World Magazine. I have had thyroid test done and know that my T3 is low and the Dr’s want to test it again in 3 months. Could I do the pilot program if I am not interested in the Magazine? Thanks, Michelle

    • I’m sorry Michelle, but you need to agree to be interviewed by Woman’s World to join this program. This is why I’m doing the pilot study.

  5. Hi – I tried your watercress soup recipe earlier this week and loved it so much so that I am making more this afternoon. Who knew watercress could taste so good?
    I was very excited to see your pilot program. For the record – I read Women’s World Magazine and enjoy it. However, I am a Canadian. Are we excluded?

          You can be part of the group. I sent out the call for the 20s – 40s today because I need more women in that age group. Most of the people who signed up are 50 and over. I need a good representation of all ages.
