Juicing For Health | Juicing To Lose Weight | Juice Lady Cherie

Weight is one of the most common challenges that most people tackle. . .  again and again. It is no wonder, as weight gain, weight retention, and weight loss have multifactorial causes and no one solution fits all. It certainly explains while some people are successful applying common diet and exercise approaches while others try the same methods only to find themselves yo-yo-ing between losing and gaining the same stubborn 5,10, 20, or 40 pounds, and finally feel discouraged and almost helpless.

Undoubtedly, there are fundamental principles that lie at the core of any weight optimization strategy, including regular exercise, low calorie nutrient-rich whole foods, and avoidance of processed and artificial foods. We also emphasize stress management and appropriate detoxification, use of herbs and supplemental nutrients. This process always takes discipline. The reward is that usually this approach brings the body into balance so it returns to optimal function and weight. But occasionally we need to address the brain-body communication system which, once out of balance, fails to provide proper feedback in regulating cravings and satiety, mood and energy and even sleep. This signaling needs to be reset in the hypothalamus/pineal command center in the brain, which then begins to send the correct messages to various organs and systems of the body.

The pineal gland is a small pine cone shaped organ inside your brain that secretes hormones like melatonin, serotonin and DMT (Dimethyltryptamine).  Melatonin and serotonin are responsible for sleep and meditative states, and emotional states of well-being, bliss, and euphoria.

“We use an extensive questionnaire to identify how your body processes energy,  and where the stumbling blocks are, and then create the correct strategy for you bringing together physical, mental and emotional factors, in order to restore balance, and support you on the path to optimal health and weight.”

    Greetings,
I am seventy years old and have some health issues due to my surroundings as a care giver, over weight, and generally unhappy. As a Believer in God’s love and goodness and the power which comes from that love I believe He lead me to see you on Sid Roth’s program 3/13 or 14/2014 , can’t remember which BUT anyway my question is… Will your health program help me to establish and RECOVER my former good health. I’ve always enjoyed raw foods and healthy eating ( not juicing except years ago ) but for the past 5+ years I have catered to my husbands whims for eating and have gotten away from healthy consideration of food. He is a fried and gravy man. Further info. about me: I suffer from inflammation, IBS, joint ache, indigestion and colon issues, and depression (I cry easily). Since the Lord lead me to hear you and about you I know He has got healing in His wings for me. I guess I just want to hear from you about other older people who have turned their lives around with eating by your advice.
Thank you for taking notice of my concerns and reading this and especially thank you if you answer this. Sincerely, Gail Griffith

    • Gail, you can turn your health around. There have been many people in their 70s who have completely healed their body with juicing and raw foods. But you can’t continue eating the fried food and gravy, etc. You need to avoid all that stuff and eat an anti-inflammatory diet. Omit gluten, dairy, soy, corn, sweets, alcohol, caffeine, and junk food. Eat lots of vegetables and drink veggie juice. You need to alkalize your body with vegetables, low-sugar fruit, sprouts, seeds and nuts. Get my book THe Juice Lady’s Living Foods Revolution.

  3. I have two questions. First, I am having trouble finding Jerusalem artichokes for the Weight Loss Buddy, may I substitute regular artichokes. Second, I am remodeling my kitchen in the near future, are there any juices that freeze well..
    Thank you Cherie

    • You can’t juice artichokes. If you can’t find Jerusalem artichokes, there is nothing you can substitute. So sorry. Almost all juices freeze well. Happy remolding.

    • Thyrocsin is a wonderful supplement for thyroid. It really does work well. Also, my book The Juice Lady’s Remedies for Thyroid Disorders could be quite helpful.
